S.A.M. (Sam Fisher) is an independent artist who was raised in Corry, PA, a small town in northwestern Pennsylvania. S.A.M. grew up in a Christian based household that introduced him to Christian Hip Hop (CHH), which became a big influence to his content filled lyricism. In high school, songwriting became a big part of his life when he expressed his emotions and experiences while dealing with anxiety and depression. While S.A.M. is in a much better headspace now (thanks to God and a great support system), the rollercoaster ride of life has continued to challenge his faith and his perception on the current state of the world.

While many things have changed in the most difficult transition of his life, rap and songwriting has not. S.A.M. released his first song on YouTube in February, 2022, and followed it with more singles within a few months later. He dropped an album exclusive to his YouTube channel (Alumni) as a formal introduction to his audience and a visual of who he is not only as a rapper, but as a person. S.A.M. rode the wave of momentum into creating the intro theme song for the DeeJ Experience Sports Stream, which has became well recognized in the local Corry community.

In 2025, S.A.M. has returned after releasing one song in the past two years with his latest album The Process. Still with lots to prove to the people who don’t believe in him, he acknowledges them on his intro rapping “I am not a product of the people who had bought this/Nobody believed except for me and I know God did,” While getting into the music industry has been a process, S.A.M. focuses more on how he battles with his everyday struggles on his latest album. Aiming to challenge the way we view the world we live in, S.A.M. is now on all major platforms with thought-provoking and relatable lyrics that have drastically improved, but keep the same fire he’s had since starting in 2022.
